Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026 · Effective: September 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DraftPilot ("DraftPilot", "we", "us"), operated by Agustín Azziz, a sole developer based in Uruguay, handles information when you use the DraftPilot application and website (the "Service"). Contact: aazziz@draftpilot.gg.

1. What the Service does

DraftPilot is an analysis tool for the League of Legends champ select (pick/ban) phase. It reads the state of the draft that is already displayed in your game client and produces recommendations. It does not automate, modify, or interact with the game.

2. Information we process

Draft data. Champions picked and banned, assigned roles, and your configured champion pool. This is read from the game client through the Overwolf platform and used in real time to generate recommendations. The core (heuristic) analysis runs locally on your device.

AI coach (optional, only if you enable it). When you request an AI analysis, the current draft state (champion names, roles, bans — no account identifiers, no personal data) is sent to our backend and forwarded to a third-party AI provider (currently Groq; the provider can be changed in the app settings) to generate the response. We do not use this data to train models, and our providers are contractually bound not to train on it. It is retained only in short-term operational logs and then deleted.

Account and subscription data. If you create an account or subscribe to Pro, we process your email address and subscription status. Payment is handled by Overwolf; we do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Champion statistics. Win rates, pick rates, and build data are obtained from public third-party statistics sources and from Riot's Data Dragon. No user data is involved.

Diagnostics (optional, opt-in). Anonymous crash reports and usage metrics (which features are used, error rates, the current game patch). These contain no gameplay content and no personal identifiers.

3. What we do not do

4. Third parties

We rely on: Overwolf (the platform the app runs on), our AI provider (for the optional AI coach), our payment processor, our hosting provider, and an error-reporting service. Each processes data only as needed to provide their part of the Service and under their own privacy terms.

5. Legal basis (EEA/UK users)

We process draft data and provide recommendations to perform the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The optional AI coach and diagnostics are based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time in the app settings.

6. Retention

Draft data is processed transiently and not stored on our servers except for short-term operational logs (retained no longer than 30 days). Account data is kept while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion for accounting purposes.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing aazziz@draftpilot.gg. Depending on your location you may also have the right to object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be announced in the app.

10. Riot Games

DraftPilot isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games, and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.
